Cleaning Ceramic Tiles – I Need Help

I spent the good part of the day yesterday cleaning the ceramic tiles in our bathroom. Since I can be a neat/clean freak at times, I’m now on a mission to restore the white ceramic tiles back to their original luster.
I took every cleaner I had and did experiments. None of them would lift that final layer of haze. The only product I found that would semi-work, (if I scrubbed the tiles three or four times, and used more “elbow grease” than I prefer), was Bar Keepers Friend.
So, I’m asking, does anyone know of a product or procedure to rid ceramic tiles of the haze that remains after cleaning soap scum off of them? Any, and all thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
