You’ve heard the stories – thieves steal your checks and “wash them”, which removes the information you wrote on the check. They then rewrite the check to “whomever”, and the forged check comes back to your bank to be processed. People’s bank accounts have been wiped out because of these thieves.
Uniball has come out with a pen that features a specially-formulated ink, that they claim cannot be “washed”. It’s the Uniball Signo 207. It comes in different colors and also in either 5mm or 7mm. I use these pens for everything, and always make sure I have one in my purse for check writing.
Granted, you can eliminate check writing by carrying a debit or credit card, however, if you do write checks, take the necessary precautions, so that you don’t become the next victim of check fraud.
These pens can be ordered online from Amazon. Click on the link and read more about the Uniball Signo 207.
