List Making

I’m a list maker. I am always making lists of things I have to do or things I don’t want to forget.

List making, for me, is good. I think of something, put it on my list, and then I can forget about it (for awhile). I find it clears my head, making room for more important things. I keep a magnetic notepad on my refrigerator where I write down what I need from the grocery store. I keep a list in my office of errands I need to run, reports I need to prepare, etc. Then I will keep another list, usually in a small notebook, of projects I want to get done around the house.

It’s always a joy for me when I can cross something off of my list. And yes, sometimes if I do something that wasn’t on my list, I will add it, and then cross it off. That may sound goofy, but it makes me realize how much I accomplished.

Try list making for yourself. It really helps when you have a lot to remember. But, don’t do like I do at times, and leave the grocery list at home. Oops, I think I forgot to put that on my list.
