Hi Barbara – this is definitely a list I need. I was just thinking about how much I’d aged this morning and I didn’t even have glasses on.

I do a handful of these but probably the most health ones. I think I’ll definitely start meditating again. Have you tried it – it really works – just takes a bit of persevering with at first.

Hello Catherine,

These are all great tips, aren’t they. On Oprah.com you can read all of the details.

I tried meditation in the past, but like you, need to get back to practicing it daily. It’s a great stress reducer.

Thanks Barbara – I’ll check it out. I could do with doing less of the least healthy ones like drinking wine and more of the meditation and exercise.

Have you tried pilates? It’s similar to yoga. I haven’t done that for ages, but it’s good. I got Windsor pilates from TV shopping and it came with a 20 minute video, which is a lot easier to fit in on a regular basis.

Hi Catherine,

Dr. Oz claims a glass of wine is actually good for us. For those that are not drinkers, he suggested concord grape juice.

I have that same pilates video. I tried it, and it is a lot like yoga. Great stretching moves. I think it says to do the 20 minute one 3 times a week. That’s do-able.
