Hi Water - Yes, baking soda and/or vinegar are great non toxic cleaners.

Hi Shruti - I've never tried cleaning casings, but that's a great idea.

Hi CM - Thanks for the recipe. I'll have to try that.

Hi Kitchen - You're right. Baking soda and vinegar have no contaminates in them.

In food preparation areas like the kitchen, baking soda and vinegar is great to use as a safe cleaner that won't contaminate food.

I have used baking soda to clean my sterling silver jewery for years. It works like a champ! Simply combine 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with 8 oz of water. Works like a champ! You make may have to do a little rubbing if the jewelry is really tarnished. Make sure that you use a soft cotton cloth to dry your jewelry off with.

Usual soaking time is around fifteen minutes.

Soda Soda everywhere, not a drop to drink!

Baking soda is the best to clean the external casings of may light colored electrical appliances too. Case in point, my white Apple Macbook.

Love the list. Quite a few i didn't know about.

I like cleaning kitchen surfaces with baking soda and vinegar as opposed to chemical cleaners because it's non toxic.
